Our first meeting (probably a telephone call) will just be a chat to understand your issue, to determine whether I am able to help you and importantly, if you feel that hypnotherapy is right for you.
Our first face to face meeting will then be an opportunity for me to find out more information about you and the issue that you would like help with.
I may carry out a hypnotic relaxation exercise with you in this first meeting, just to introduce the experience of hypnotherapy to you.
Subsequent sessions will then be tailor made for you where I may use a variety of hypnotherapy techniques to help with your specific issues. I may provide you with activities for you to do in your own time, for example relaxation exercises or questionnaires.
The number of sessions required will be very much dependant on your issue and progress, but I will be able to set some expectations for you after our first session together. Many issues can be improved in around 4 sessions, but it can be more or it can be less.
